Charlie Petersson...
... is one of Sweden's most booked and sought after cover artists/troubadours.
He had his first musical breakthrough with his self-produced music documentary 'Street Tunes' in which the audience get to follow Petersson travelling around Europe surviving only as a street musician from city to city for one month. The documentary was sold to SVT (Sweden), SBS (Australia) and Prime video (UK).
With over 400 live shows all over Sweden between 2022-2026, he delivers an unforgettable night at any venue he plays, involving the audience into his performance with his concept 'The Human Jukebox'
THE HUMAN JUKEBOX
Charlie is born a savant - meaning he has a photographic memory with music lyrics.
This leads to him being one of the few (if not the only) troubadour in the country performing over 100 songs straight from his head. No sheets or iPads.
His set list, containing over 100 hit songs from all the decades are being placed on all the tables all over the venue - and the audience can then through a simple app wish for the song they want to hear him play next.
This concept incorporates the audience into the performance and breaks down the distance between the artist and the audience and creates a living room/house party type of feeling at the venue and Charlie becomes a human living Spotify playlist,
or...
... The Human Jukebox.
